Municipalities need them, but some are looking to replace the utilitarian look with something more aesthetically pleasing. Humboldt Island Beautifies Its Streets With Beach Scene Electrical Box Graphics
One of five manufactured islands in Huntington Harbour, Humboldt Island is famous for its residences with immediate water access. Yachts moored in front of gorgeous mansions are common. During a recent construction project involving the electrical boxes, the city contacted our team to find ways to blend them into the waterfront community.
Our graphic artist selected an image depicting the Huntington Beach pier and designed seven custom electrical box wrap designs with a twist. The picture looks correct from virtually any angle without being an exact carbon copy. The result is a stunning look that transforms electrical boxes into works of art.
Working With Cities in the Southland to Beautify Streets One Electrical Box at a Time
We have worked with several cities in SoCal. In Buena Park, we wrapped ugly electrical boxes with vinyl graphics. Located on busy Beach Boulevard, we followed the client’s instructions to use bold, vibrant colors. In Stanton, we worked with images the city had collected after a children’s art contest. We sized the graphics for the box wraps.
Los Angeles, too, was looking for ways to use vinyl graphics that would let unsightly electrical boxes fit into the neighborhood. In this case, the client provided us with the images they wanted to use to hide the electrical boxes in plain sight. We created printed vinyl wraps that we then installed. The finished results are boxes with nature themes and blue sky imagery that look amazing.
